The Covid-19 pandemic has been the biggest factor in increasing the rates of depression all around the world for the past two years. Is Weight Loss Really a Compliment?

Society has conditioned us to think that commenting on someone’s weight loss is ideal and we even go as far as using it as a compliment. In addition to the degree that one receives, there are several other stories and factors that guide a student’s life ahead of academics. Trevor’s autobiography, Born A Crime: Stories of a South African Childhood, seems to be an ode to his mother and a recollection of the comic’s childhood in the apartheid gripped South Africa.

“Before the law, we learned to drive on open grounds from the men in our family, but we were always anxious about being seen by anyone. But now, it feels great to be on the driving seat”
